Why we love this Wine
After spending almost 20 years making wine in the Languedoc with great success, great-grandson Laurent Delaunay managed to reclaim his family estate in 2017 and has brought this house back into the lime-light through impressively detailed winemaking. From the famed village of Volnay, old vine fruit is plunged gently, giving plush tannin, soft and supple. Seasoned with a lick of new oak, it feels all cherries and cinnamon spice, with underlying tones of cumin and pepper.
