A masculine example of village-level Burgundy from a region known for fleshy, flavoursome drinking and intense wines. These silty, iron-rich pockets are home to some of the finest vines in the area, with this Pinot Noir seeing barrel ageing for 15 months, 35% in new oak. Classy notes of violets and berries, on a palate of cherry and liquorice. Powerful to the finish.
