Ex-Giaconda winemaker, Peter Graham’s Beechworth-based Domenica Wines is one of the region’s new stars and his Chardonnay, in particular, is a much sought after wine for those searching for a classic, purely fruited, complex and pristine example of the variety. Gorgeous apple, nectarine and white peach characters with soft spice, almond paste, a touch of struck match and beautifully judged oak. Yup. That’ll do us.
