Why we love this Wine
Bright and bouncy, and totally unlike your typical robust Duras. Instead, this contre pied, meaning to take the opposite view in French, is treated to a little Beaujolais pampering. After a quick carbonic maceration, this baby is sent to age in a concrete tank for six months. The result? An irresistibly zippy, big energy wine that we can’t put down. Juicy cherries and tart raspberries are met with hints of chocolate and subtle spice. Downright delectable.
