Balanced, tropical Chenin Blanc from Savennieres, a highly-respected appellation of France's Loire Valley. Domaine Ogereau have a deserved reputation for quality, and this whole-bunch pressed, dry-styled Chenin brings bitey acid and textural finesse following spontaneous and total malolactic fermentation. Light yellow, there's a floral airiness to this wine that somehow feels very expansive. One to decant for max impact, or at least crack ahead of time if you're lazy.
