Why we love this Wine

Glou glou is French for the sound wine makes leaving the bottle — and it's printed right on the label, in case the point wasn't clear enough. This is not a wine for thinking. It's a wine for pouring, again and again. Domaine Alice Beaufort grew out of the Beaufort family's Champagne roots — Quentin's father was farming biodynamically there back in 1971, decades before it was fashionable. Quentin took that same instinct south to Prusly-sur-Ource, on the Côte d'Or's northern fringe. Whole bunches, semi-carbonic. The result: bright red cherry and cranberry, a peppery lift, barely-there tannin. Light on its feet, serious about being unserious.
