Why we love this Wine
Grab us by the ankle and dunk us in the river— we've got a weakness for the wines of Alsace. This richer Pinot Noir is a shining example, gleaming intensely in the glass with violet undertones. Given a bit of air, this wine comes alive with slick Morello cherries, nougat notes and a satisfying nuttiness. Manually harvested, 1/3 foot stomped (the rest of the berries left whole) before 8 days of carbonic maceration and a wild yeast fermentation. Aged on lees 12mo. Swishy, splashy good stuff.
