Why we love this Wine
As you pull the cork on this baby, Puccini plays, fountains spurt, pasta rolls itself out and crushed tomatoes simmer on the stove. This is the most tradish of the traditional, flaunting all the finesse of Barbaresco. Expect a hazy perfume of roses and violets. Followed by the familiar earthy truffles, berries, tar and leather. The tannins are dusty, the finish is lingering, the Piedmont is Piedmonting.
