Why we love this Wine
Beaujolais is our spirit animal. Gamay sits well with us; what we like to eat and they way we like to slosh things around in our glass. Daniel Bouland is somewhat of a traditionalist, producing stunning wines from the Morgon lieux-dits of Corcelette, Bellevue and Delys. Morgon has a little more horsepower than other Beaujolais crus but there is nuance within its own scarps & dips. Here, Delys; planted in 1926 with its wild cherry, earthy strawberry sheen and core of spice and wild-eyed Boojness. Bouncy yet serious…. Just like us.
