Why we love this Wine
From vines planted in 1926, this truly is old vine Gamay from the granitic soils of Morgon. Sable referring to sand, this is sister to the Cailloux (rocky) cuveé. And in a warm year like 2020, my oh my do these vines thrive. Concentrated yet elegant, with richness and a delicacy true to the house style, its laden with raspberries, wild herbs and smoky minerality.
