Why we love this Wine
We have been thoroughly charmed by the wines of Cros des Calades, ie. this Grenache Blanc Blend. Grenache Blanc, Chardonnay and Vermentino (Rolle if you're fancy) all grown in the clay and limestone terroir of the Rhone and Ardeche regions. And what a stunning trinity; textural and vibrant, fresh and dry. With an average age of thirty years on the vines, that concentration of flavour and complexity can't be imagined. Sip on peach, red apple and spice, chilled to about 8 degrees C and tell me your heart isn't full.
