Hearty, honest Nero d'Avola with body that won't quit. Your quintessential Sicilian red, from island grown fruit planted in 2011 and organically cultivated. There's soft, balanced influence of oak from 500L tonneaux used to age 15% of the ferment, while the bulk ferments in stainless steel. Criante is a young producer emerging from Alcamo in Sicily's west that do everything with fresh spirit, and this rich, savoury Nero exemplifies their style.
