Why we love this Wine
Adelaide Hills-based, Candice Helbig and Frewin Ries are consistently turning out some mighty gluggable wines under their mighty little CRFT label and this Mencia (Men-THEE-ah) is a ripper. The grapes come from the organic Schmidt vineyard in Vine Vale sub-region of the Barossa Valley. It’s packed with beet and rhubarb aromas. Flavours of ripe summer berry fruits, earthy hints and deep spice. Sprightly juicy stuff.
