Why we love this Wine
Adelaide Hills-based, Candice Helbig and Frewin Ries are consistently turning out some mighty gluggable wines under their mighty little CRFT label and this little Mencia (Men-THEE-ah) is a ripper. The grapes come from the Schmidt vineyard in Vine Vale sub-region of the Barossa Valley. It’s packed with aromas and flavours of ripe summer berry fruits with earthy/leathery hints, deep spice and a sprightly juicy mouthfeel. An ideal summer red with a light chill.
