Why we love this Wine
Que Syrah, Syrah. And what will be right here is something special from the northern end of Dixons Creek valley. Taking fruit from vines aged 40+ (it's the new 30) this is lower alc, and very much nouveau style Syrah, as indeed the name suggests. 10 days of carbonic maceration do something a little different here, and the presence of old oak has only the gentlest influence. It's lighter, it's brighter, with Turkish delight and a bit of cherry.
