Te Kahu is a Merlot-dominant, Bordeaux-style blend from the Gimblett Gravels, all depth and structure with fine tannins rather than firm ones. Brooding aromatics of cassis, dark plum, cedar and a savoury, stony edge. Serious without trying too hard. Built to age, no reason to wait.
