Why we love this Wine
Siblings Jasper and Sophie farm 70 acres of Basket Range. This is their first wine from the high altitude Eurilla vineyard. Planted in ‘98 over sandy clay with quartz and sandstone, the ‘22 Chardonnay was whole bunch pressed, fermented and raised on full lees in seasoned barriques. Ripe white peach, creamy cashew, and lengths of minerality and fresh acidity style a lesson in balance.
