Why we love this Wine
Devotees of the different know to look out for Claus Preisinger's experimentations with indigenous Austrian grapes, but this 100% Pinot Noir from the Parndorfer Platte is a cool character. 70% whole bunch fermentation sealed in tank for 5 days, 30% whole berry ferment. Pressed to tank for the primary ferment before an 8 month elevage in amphora. The result is earthy and herbal, with spiced stewed fruit and vanilla. Prost.
