Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon do the heavy lifting here with a rare grape, Muscadelle, adding exotic intrigue. It’s all green apples and grapefruit, lime leaf and a salty edge forming a crisp palate and lingering lemony finish. The winery is perched in the hills along the River Dordogne within view of the mediaeval town of Creon. The Chateau is well known for its classic offering, with Pezat Blanc being their modern take on the classic blanc. This is Another Bordeaux leaving us wanting more.
