The organic Cab Franc from the Velleneuve property in Saumur Champigny is grown on the gentle slopes surrounding its 18th century Chateau. 22 fine hectares grown over limestone average 40 years of age, and deliver big on Middle Loire energy. Elegant and mid-weight, ripe blackberry, strawberry and red cherry mingle with pepper and forest floor. Goes down an absolute treat.
