Three important Beaujolais personalities are on show here: (the late) Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Claude Chanudet and Joseph Chamonard. They collaborate on a small parcel planted in 1914 making soulful wines including this Brouilly, full of fresh florals, cherries and plums, soft and beautiful. For lovers of Gamay’s more serious side. Impressive.
