Why we love this Wine
We heard this described as a Tuscan soul elixir, and that does feel the right name for a cork-topped gem from Chianti Colli Senesi, a Sangiovese with charm. The Casale estate sits atop a hill near the village of San Gigignano, the farm having provenance dating back to 1770, if not further. That's vintage on vintage of traditional Tuscan varieties, namely Sangiovese, Cieligiolo, Trebbiano and Caniolo.
