Why we love this Wine
Welcome to Barbaresco territory. Nebbiolo from the Rio Sordo vineyard grows over silty marl, manganese and zinc-rich soil for a real rip snorter of a Neb. Moisture-sucking tart cherry, heady tobacco and earthy mushrooms ride a wave of beautifully integrated tannin that hits the shore with a dash of spice. A celebrated vintage of an awfully good wine.
