Don’t let the monk-approved name throw you off— what Ca’ dei Frati are making in the modern day is a far cry from the Communion wine. This is all 'bella Italia', crafted from 100% Turbiana, the indigenous grape used to produce Lugana, a DOC wine produced near Lake Garda. This fresh white immediately offers apricot, nectarine and quince on the nose. Vibrant and zesty, there's a juicy mouthfeel and a lively kick of citrus. A rare treat well worth trying.
