Bruno Lafon's day job is running one of Meursault's most serious white Burgundy estates. This is the other gig — Pinot Noir sourced from sustainably farmed growers scattered across the Languedoc, made without ceremony. Light on its feet, bright with red cherry and raspberry coulis, a dusting of fine, chalky tannin and nothing getting in the way. Easy to drink, hard to overthink. A weeknight wine wearing a rather good surname.
