McLaren Vale’s Bondar Wines have certainly been on a roll lately and their Violet Hour Shiraz makes for delicious contemporary Shiraz-style. It’s a vibrant little ripper with a spiced plummy core with some graphite-edged, meaty action for complexity. Medium-bodied and fresh as a daisy, with a bright saline acid profile that propels the wine forward, it’s super drinking.
