Why we love this Wine
We love Adelaide Hills Gamay for the fact that it's not Beaujolais, it's definitely it's own glorious thing. Subtle but striking, there's a little citrusy freshness, like lemon rind in a pot of strawberry jam. Confectionery for grown-ups, this is a sweet-smoky treat by way of Brackenwood in Kuitpo. 15 days on skins and 10mo in 2- to 3-year old French barriques. One to remember.
