Why we love this Wine
Brendon and Kirstyn Keys have seldom made a wine we don't fancy, but this one is particularly scrumptious. A simple formula: exceptional quality fruit from small, sustainable vineyards and a minimalist touch in vinification. Pinot Gris offers huge aroma following fermentation in concrete eggs: sherbert lemons, pears, honeycomb. There's a softly toasted hint of shortbread following contact with lees. The mid-palate has a little kick. Black pepper. Ruby grapefruit. Reject the ego, but embrace Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris. Too good.
