A red wine of great precision from Benjamin Leroux in an elegantly finessed Pinot Noir. From selection of plots including Volnay, Pommard and Meursault, a little from Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and 1er fruit from Monthelie. You can’t mimic that pedigree. Especially at this price. De-stemmed fruit, 10% new oak, dark cherry, mocha and iodine notes. Tension and length for days.
