Chef's kiss, slam dunk, first-class honors. Bel Colle is a benchmark producer from the historic Barolo commune Verduno, where Arneis from the sand hills of Roero is oft labelled 'the white Barolo'. Packed with the aromas of pear, fennel, green apple and white flowers, it's easy to see how it has garnered such reverence: the acid balance is laser-precise, the palate is clean. There's stone-fruit on the finish, while grassy, citrussy notes keep the wine lifted and energetic. A quaffable, quenching white, heavy on charm.
