Why we love this Wine
Chenin can be light as air, but this is a textural dream. Flavourtown, population: lees. The creamy depth of flavour offered by fermentation on lees shows the full potential of McLaren Vale Chenin. Rob Mack has pumped up the weight this style carries on the palate, balancing complexity and stone-fruit character with crunchy, refreshing acid. Divided across tank and French oak for the ferment, this is a beautifully balanced outcome from one of the Vale's cooler sites.
