The name says it all: overlooked grape, main character energy.
Fruit comes off the Cobboboonee vineyard in Henty — cool, coastal, the kind of site that builds finesse rather than muscle. Two-thirds destemmed and fermented on wild yeast, one-third carbonic (that whole-berry, self-fermenting method that keeps things bright and juicy) before six months in old French oak settles the whole thing down. Red cherry, poached strawberry, a hit of summer flowers. Light-footed, silky tannin, acidity running the show.
