Why we love this Wine

Head Winemaker Sam Berketa loves blends because he thinks they often work so much better to create a more rounded wine, rather than just a single expression. Each of these varieties in the Mistress 2019 work seamlessly with one another to create a beautiful wine that is an absolute joy to drink. In the mouth, Touriga and Tempranillo have beautiful fruit and spice with that playful tannin whilst Carignan supplies all that lively and juicy acidity. So it’s true. Blends really do have more fun.
