Why we love this Wine
A second vintage for the estate grown Gamay at Anvers, and it's picked up some swaggering confidence. A bit wild, all red liquorice and foraged berries. Earth and spice, black tea and a graphite hum. Tense but pretty, grippy and gritty. While some Gamay floats along in an ethereal little bubble, this hits squarely with some texture and sap. Hand-picked, 25% whole bunch.
