Leo Erazo works the old bush vines of Guarilihue, deep in Itata, farming his inherited century-plus vines organically and dry, and calling his outfit "the brave winemakers" for good reason.
Moscatel leads, Semillon along for the ride — hand-picked off ancient granite-soil bush vines, fermented on native yeast, aged in concrete, bottled without filtering. Hazy on purpose: apricot, orange blossom, a savoury, slightly wild edge, with a faint grip of tannin on a wine that's technically white but basically orange.
