Alessandro Viola
Alessandro builds his wines layer by layer, like Sicily itself. Mosaic-bright detail, the finesse of a fine palazzo, and a structured finish carved from stone.
Son of a viticulturist and now steward of seven organic hectares near Alcamo, he farms his family’s land by hand, among the same vines that sparked his curiosity as a child. He studied oenology, but the doctrine never stuck, and he returned home dodging conformity, convinced nothing should be added or taken away.
Today, he only grows Sicily’s own—Grillo, Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese and Catarratto. For anyone who likes their wines with both brains and beauty.
