Fratelli Revello have some pretty spectacular vineyard holdings in their quiver including a slice of the stellar Rocche dell’Annunziata in La Morra. Here in their entry-level Barolo you can expect generous cherry and red berry fruits, spice, polished leather, violets and a hint of French oak. Compact and structured, perhaps more ‘modernist’ than ‘traditionalist’, perhaps spanning the gap between the two? Either way, we dig it.
