The Cerretta cru from the commune of Serralunga d’Alba provides a serious step-up in concentration, power and finesse with deep, resonant red plum and dark cherry notes, leather, mahogany, turned earth, violets, spice and espresso. Rich, ferrous-edged fruit of considerable depth and structure, with a long, elegant, savoury trail on the finish. Bravo!
