Why we love this Wine
In recent years, the stellar Pikes ‘The Merle’ Riesling has become the benchmark for the variety in a region that is already saturated with world class wines. That in itself is quite a feat and it is indeed quite a wine. Head-spinning purity and precision of Riesling fruit here, with laser-like focus and that driving, tubular palate shape that propels the wine forward. It’s one of Australia’s great wines. 'Nuff said.
