We love this wine because…
Some grapevines have a pretty nice life. Here, in the DOC Bardolino in the Veneto region in the north of Italy, Corvina (50%), Rondinella (40%), Molinara (10%) hang out in the sun on the western shore of Lake Garda before coming together in the bottle for our enjoyment. They give us a red wine at the lighter end of medium-bodied, packed with spicy cherry characters & a whiff of amaro herbs. Savoury, bright, comfortable in its own skin with that breezy, Italian casual style.
