Fourth gen vigneron Raphael Saint-Cyr is producing heartfelt expressions of Beaujolais, certified organic in a reparative homage to his grandfather and uncle, both of whom suffered at the hands of chemicals. This beautifully natural Gamay from the Chénas region enjoyed a little cold carbonic maceration, revealing a enchanting expression of fine red-fruited Gamay. Robert’s a winner.
