Why we love this Wine
Pineau de la Loire is the local historical name for Chenin Blanc here, and since Chenin is not permitted in the AOC, the wine is declassified to Vin de France. Lucky us. This was originally the Clos du Tue-Boeuf passion project, a micro production of 100-year-old vines tended organically, now sourced a little wider because, well, it’s that good. Intense fresh and elegant, citrus and acid, chewy pear. Magic.
