One of the big guns of Austrian wine, Brundlmayer produce a range of stinnging wines from the heart of the Kamptal. Here a pitch-perfect Grüner Veltliner with notes of lemon, grapefruit and light melon tones, cut with soft spice, a touch of white pepper, scattered herbs, walnut and splashes of apple and ginger. Bracing yet textural with great clarity and detail, it’s beautiful drinking.
